Recharging your mini split with R-410A — if your ductless mini split is blowing warm, icing up, or running constantly, low refrigerant is a common cause. This kit includes R-410A refrigerant with the gauge hose and service adapters most mini split systems need for a DIY recharge. Rule of thumb: if your system is not heating or cooling properly, assume the charge is about half empty — check your unit's nameplate for the refrigerant type and charge weight before ordering, and size your order to it. Example: if your nameplate charge is 100 oz and the system isn't heating or cooling properly, figure it's sitting near 50 oz — you'd need roughly 50 oz more, which is 2 bottles at 28 oz each. For R-410A systems only.
Professional use notice: Under U.S. EPA regulations (Section 608), refrigerant may be added to or removed from an appliance only by an EPA-certified technician. This product is sold for use by, or under the direct supervision of, a certified technician. Follow all federal, state, and local regulations and the manufacturer's safety instructions when handling refrigerant.
